Come out to a real arctic ranch! just 10 minutes from alta city, Flatmoen Farm lays in quiet surroundings with wilderness in 3 directions.

We will pick you up from your stay, then head out to the farm. We will great the horses and talk a little bit about how the different horses work.

Now the fun begins. Depending on your riding level, we will head out to the woods either walk, trot or gallop. The trees hanging over the narrow path in the forest, completely covered in snow. Surrounded with nature, the only sound you can hear is the horse’s hooves and heavy breathing in the crisp cold air.

Somewhere in the trip we will make a stop at our half wall shelter, take a break and have a cinnamon bun with a cup of coffee.

These woods are known for their moose population. so, if you are lucky, we might catch I glimpse of the king himself.
