If you are a little bit afraid to throw yourself into one of our longer trips, and just want a taste, this is the perfect trip for you.
We start by entering the pasture and pick ourselves a horse, bring them back to the farm and start grooming them. When we are all done we head out in to the woods.
You decide the speed, and we do not have to go fast if you don’t want to, that’s all up to you guys. The horses are as safe as they can be, and you will receive helmets from us. The perfect trip for beginners. We end the trip with a coffee and something to bite on, at the farm porch

Try out this short and easy horse-riding experience. we start with meeting our horses that already have their saddle on. From here we will enter the arena where we show you how to handle the horse. We will go through every step with you, from how to mount the horse to how the breaks and start work.
If this is handled good and you feel safe, we will take a short ride In the forest, where you get to put your freshly learned skills at test. We will end up back at the ranch, time to say goodbye to the horses.

- Duration 1 Hour
Day 1: We start preparing in the morning, you will be given your horse, and we will go in the arena for a short breafing in how to handle the horse. After this we load the horses on the trailer and head for the mountains!
When we get up on the mountain, we make our way for the cabin, which will be where we are going to have our base for this trip. Safe at the cabin, we attend our horses, and then we attend ourselves after, with food and rest.
Day 2: We feed and take care of the horses. While they are eating, we eat breakfast and plan the day. We have several options and select the route based on your riding level. You are deciding with us on how far to ride. We eat today’s lunch outside. When we return to cabin, we feed and take care of the horses. Then we eat dinner and socialize
Day 3: We feed the horses, eat breakfast, and pack up our equipment before our trip back. Today we head back down the mountain. We stop for lunch on the route. On arrival back at the ranch we attend the horses and have a light meal, while we talk about our trip!
Included: horse, helmets, accommodation, all meals.
The tour price excludes: flights, pre and post tour accommodation and meals, and any alcoholic beverages. Specific dietary requirements, e.g. vegetarian meals, is not available on our wilderness trips, please contact us.

We start with gathering the horses and grooming them, when we are ready, we ride from the farm. We decide where the ride go, based on your level of experience.
When we are hungry, we stop and eat- before turning our noses homewards again.

We set course for Finnmarksvidda (approx. 60 min drive). When we arrive at the starting point, we harness the fjords and hitch them in the beautiful carriage, the carriage has suspension, dining table and cup holders to make the trip as comfortable as possible.
When we are halfway through the trip, we stop and build a fire. Now it's time for a hot meal. Satisfied and good, we get back into the carriage, and set course for home
The carriage has the option to drive down the cab if the weather dictates it. Up on the Finnmarksvidda there is a fantastic terrain, so here you just have to get the camera ready.

We set course for Finnmarksvidda (approx. 60 min drive). When we arrive at the starting point, we harness the fjords and hitch them in the beautiful carriage, the carriage has suspension, dining table and cup holders to make the trip as comfortable as possible.
When we are halfway through the trip, we stop and light a fire. Now it's time for a hot meal. Satisfied and good, we get back into the carriage, and set the course further into the mountains.
Now it's time to set up camp for the night. We have tents and sleeping bags with sleeping liners that are washed after each trip.
The guide builds a fire for the evening, and is responsible for cooking and serving.
The carriage has the option to drive down the cab if the weather dictates it. Up on the Finnmarksvidda there is a fantastic terrain, so here you just have to get the camera ready.
Duration approximately 25-28 hours
